Methodology

How We Test & Score

Every tool here is scored out of 10 against the same five criteria, weighted the way an operator actually feels them. Nothing is scored from a spec sheet — each tool is run on a real task before it gets a number.

The Five Criteria

Real-world output

30%

Did it produce work I would actually ship to a client or a campaign?

Cost to own

25%

Total cost over a year vs. what it replaces — subscriptions add up fast.

Data & control

20%

Where does your data go? Who holds the keys? Can it run without phoning home?

Learning curve & speed

15%

How fast a working marketer gets to a result, not a tutorial.

Support & longevity

10%

Will it still be here — and still updated — in two years?

The Process

01

Run it on real work

Every tool is used on live campaigns and real deliverables — not demo prompts or a sales walkthrough.

02

Measure cost to own

We total the real annual cost and what it replaces. Subscriptions are weighed against one-time and self-hosted alternatives.

03

Trace the data

We check where your data goes, who holds the keys, and whether the tool can work without sending your information to someone else’s server.

04

Score, then publish either way

The five weighted criteria produce a score out of 10. Reviews publish regardless of result — a 6 is published as a 6, commissions or not.

Reader Reviews

Alongside each hands-on verdict, marketers leave their own reviews. Submissions are checked before they go live, and only genuine reviews count toward a tool's star rating — we never inflate ratings with placeholder or vendor-supplied testimonials.

Independence

aitoolsreviewshub.com earns affiliate commissions when you buy through some links, at no cost to you. Commissions never influence scores or rankings — tools are tested and graded before any commercial relationship is considered, and no vendor can pay for placement.
